Forest School and Wilderness Camp

Sequoia students and their families are offered opportunities to participate in Forest School and Wilderness Camp at various times throughout the year. Forest School is a holistic and learner-led outdoor education program, taking advantage of the abundant State and National Forests available to us in California. Through healthy engagement of risk, problem solving, and self discovery, children are able to develop themselves and their awareness in a natural environment of hands-on experience. Wilderness Camp provides the opportunity for children and families to extend their stay in the forest and camp on safe and contained grounds with group wilderness activities and skill building structured into the experience.
